Wedding Photography, Events and Portraits are my major focus. I also do nature stock photography.
Weddings and Wedding Planning
I do a blend of classical wedding portraits and the newer photojournalism style to capture your wonderful day. This gives you the best of both worlds. You get the classic portraits plus candid shots that capture all the emotions and details of your wedding day. Capturing the story of your day is my goal.

Virtually all weddings have the same basic elements however no two are the same. In addition to taking the traditional wedding shots after the ceremony the photographer tries to capture the uniqueness of the individuals and the ceremony they have chosen.
You'll find my wedding packages are flexible and innovative and enable you to get what you want.... all at a great price.
Leave the photography to me, you already have enough to worry about.
In addition, I will seek opportunities to insure that special moments and people you wish to remember are captured.
I enjoy working with a wedding planner to insure your wedding is like you want it.
Portraits
In portrait photography there are basically three different portrait posing styles to work with: traditional, casual and glamorous. Depending on your needs and desires one or more of the styles can be used.
The traditional style (often called formal portait) is most often used for portraits for business, yearbooks and people of power. It is often intended to show distinction. It is the most often used but it does not fulfill everyone's photographic needs.
Casual portraits are of course more relaxed while glamorous posing is designed to focus on showing person in a more appealing and attractive way.
I encourage people to look in magazines and bring clipping of the type of photographs they would like to have taken of themselves. You are also welcome to view my photography books to select a different styles that you like. After all it is you that is getting photographed and I strive to offer you the services you need.
I have a studio in my home or I can do portraits on location. My photographic style is relaxed in order to capture you as you are.
I will also photograph you at a site that is special to you (a favorite park, your home, or some other meaningful place). For many, this is an important ingredient for a great portrait.
Most sessions last about an hour. This gives me plenty of time to try a variety of poses and natural backgrounds and you'll get lots of great photos to choose from. If you have children, I allow time for them to become comfortable with me. I believe in capturing children being children, not just quick posed smiles.
Senior/school Photographs (High School)
I can do formal studio photography or mix it with casual portraits on location. The seniors personal interests will be incorporated into the session.
Event Photography
This includes family reunions, class reunions, club meetings and social events. This is often covered first in a photojournalistic style coupled with posed shots. This is usually scheduled by the hour.
Other
- I provide stock pictures used for publication in magazines and newspapers.
- I also sell selected works as prints.
